Owner, Ward Dobbins, is the second generation in the Dobbins family to act as president of the company. Established in 1966 in Lyndonville, NY as a brokerage firm processing for local apple and pear growers in New York State, Thruway now has a much broader reach. In this business, Food Safety is priority #1. All growers follow Good Agricultural Practices and Ward insists that storage and transportation partners follow the strictest sanitary and safety guidelines.
Today Thruway connects local growers in several states with customers across the country. With a broad and diverse customer base, they provide growers with stable markets for their fruit and vegetables. This allows Wild Harvest access to produce from the best local farmers in the country.
