What do they make?

Wild Harvest Organic Tomatoes

Where does it come from?

San Joaquin Valley, California

Terranova Ranch was established in 1979 in Helm, California, which is in the central San Joaquin Valley, about half way between San Francisco and Los Angeles. In 1993, they began converting to organic farming and today approximately 600 acres are certified by CCOF, California Certified Organic Farmers. In addition to Wild Harvest tomatoes, Terranova farms and processes garlic, pima cotton, alfalfa hay, lettuce seed, broccoli seed, basil seed, and walnuts.

Don Cameron started with Terranova in 1981 as the general manager of the Ranch, and now calls this land ‘Home’. He leads the farm's commitment to sustainability with a goal to provide clean, healthy, nutritious, safe foods to consumers, while also providing a safe and healthy and fair working environment for all of the employees.

The commitment to sustainability in their farming practices are not just hollow words. In 2008, Terranova converted all 39 of their natural gas engines used for pumping water for irrigation to clean, high efficient electric motors. Starting in 2009, all of their processing tomatoes are irrigated with drip irrigation, which conserves water and produces a higher-quality tomato.
